August brought us back to Marianmade Farm for the Maine wedding of Jenny and Doug. We spent quite a bit of time at Marianmade Farm this wedding season, it’s easy to understand why so many couples want to tie the knot there. The farm is a working lavender and flower farm situated in Wiscasset overlooking the Sheepscot River, giving guests views of both the water and the ever growing flower fields.

We love seeing how each couple makes the space their own. Jenny and Doug were so thoughtful in their decor, making it resonate with who they are as a couple. Each table adorned with wooden trays filled with succulents and moss, fresh flowers in clear glass bottles while the table numbers were postcards from their travels along with a picture from the trip. Each postcard had a note about their favorite part of the trip was. Their love of travel carried through to the escort cards, mini passports! Guests were treated to some of the best food Maine has to offer, Fire & Co. Think chicken and waffles, brisket, jalapeno mac and cheese – we heard so many rave reviews on the food. Guests danced the night away with DJ Chris Estrela, taking breaks to enjoy s’mores and gelato!
