During the hottest weekend of Maine’s summer, Kristine, Andy and Natalie officially became a family of three. Kristine and Andy, a fun-loving couple from DC, brought their good-time attitude and elegant but fun taste with them all the way to French’s Point in Stockton Springs. This couple has always loved Maine and escaping the city to spend some time in the outdoors – so this location could not have been any more perfect for them.
The kicked off their wedding weekend with a rehearsal that was true to their laid back and fun style. Even in the heat, Kristine and Andy escaped for a couple’s bike ride around the expansive estate. Did we mention that Kristine was wearing a perfectly fitted white jumpsuit? Yep – she’s a superhero. Next, the pair celebrated their upcoming nuptials with a wood-fired pizza dinner catered from Harvest Moon Catering. Guests mingled while the sun set and realized exactly why Kristine and Andy love Maine so much.
The next day, Kristine and Andy brought the heat. By that, we mean they looked amazing, but also it was just super, super hot outside. But no scorching temp could slow down this adventurous, enthusiastic pair. Kristine, Andy and Natalie all stood at the alter together as a long-time family friend married the couple. As the officiant told me after, he had been waiting for twenty years to officiate Kristine’s wedding. The family affair continued with family dances – including Kristine and her dad and moments on the dance floor for Andy and his daughter, Natalie.
After celebrating the night with hilarious toasts and delectable cake – Kristine and Andy’s guests went to bed with full tummies, happy hearts, and (we’re guessing) plans to come back and visit Maine again soon.
Congratulations to this amazing trio!
As always, thanks to our vendor friends who made this day possible!
