Allie and Michael’s wedding day brought nothing but sun and cotton candy-like clouds, perfect wisps of white on an otherwise clear blue sky. The bride and her maid of honor got ready in the bridal suite, sipping bubbly and getting their hair and makeup done, while the groom and his best man had a laid back morning grilling and hanging out with the couples’ dog, Penny. The barn at Marianmade Farm was completely transformed with the help of mismatched vintage plates, lace runners, elegant floral pieces, finished with a piece of lavender at each place setting courtesy of the farm. Guests sat overlooking the water as Allie and Michael exchanged hand-written vows before heading up to the tent for cocktail hour, think mini-lobster rolls and a raw bar. After a family-style dinner was served, guests danced the night away. It was the perfect tented-Maine wedding.
