Everything about this wedding was so elegant, romantic, and cultured. With the ceremony at the gorgeous Williston-Immanuel United Church in Portland, guests were welcomed by Reg’s groomsmen, many (if not all) having traveled into our little state of Maine from South Africa! It was a family affair for bridesmaids – all four ladies standing for Julie were her sisters and two little nieces stealing the show as flower girls.
All of Julie and Reg’s visions came into place at 58 Fore Street – an industrial space that completely transformed to an elegant lounge & bar for cocktails and opening up into a beautiful, spacious room for dinner by Aurora Provisions. Their personalities shone through many different aspects of the evening – from South African wines to vintage cake toppers to tiramisu for dessert. It was a pleasure to experience the love between the newlyweds and share in the celebrations with their families and friends.
